Million Dollar Challenge hits screens Sunday

ps_news_thn.jpgThey qualified on PokerStars. They produced their own casting video. Now, they are facing off against Daniel Negreanu for a chance to win a million bucks.

Starting this Sunday on the American FOX network, the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge will hit the small screen at 4:30pm ET.

If you're not familiar with how it works, it's a fairly interesting new format. After the contestants made it to the TV studio, they played against celebrity contestants like Barry Greenstein, Chris Moneymaker, and Vanessa Rousso. Along the way, Negreanu coached them. If the players won, they could keep their money or face off against Kid Poker himself for $100,000. And if they won there...a chance to play for $1 million.

As if that's not enough reason to watch this weekend, PokerStars is offering you 20,000 more.

Viewers of the Million Dollar Challenge will see a password they can use to enter the Million Dollar Challenge Freeroll, and event with a first prize of $20,000. You'll find the freeroll under Tourney > Regional in the PokerStars lobby.
